All you need to know about Ghanaian Gospel musician Ewura Abena


Mrs. Vida Ewura Abena Yeboah is dynamic gospel minstrel from Ghana who was born in Takoradi, the Capital City of Ghana’s Western Region, to Rev Prince & Mrs. Mary Ohene –Asare. She is the 5th of 6 children, 5 girls and a boy.
Ewura Abena schooled at Anaji Estate Key Primary school, then to Asamankese Wesley Methodist School [from class 5 up to JSS]. She then continued at Abuakwa State College, where she was Assistant Girls School Prefect and PENSA Singers leader. Later, she enrolled at Ghana Institute of Journalism.
To broaden her horizon some more, she pursued Human Resource Management courses online at Cambridge Int. College, London.
She is very passionate about   music and started singing at a very tender age but commercially released her debut album ‘Kamakama’ in April, 2009 under the management of Nacy Recordz. Songs off her second album ‘Eye’ released August,2014 under her EA Multimedia Limited are doing well and enjoying massive air play nationwide coupled with great performances on Musical charts. Her energy and good songs catapulted her into stardom with numerous appearances at events countrywide.
She admires great and powerful musicians like Shirley Cesaer, Amy Newman, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and Mary Ghansah. In life her sole role model is CHRIST because Paul admonishes all to emulate Christ.
Ewura Abena’s songs are basically Gospel in the sense that she talks about God and his blessings upon humanity. “I want my songs to touch souls that are depressed and give them enough hope to be strong face difficult times,”
